Maycol's futbol league...
Maycol is our Grade 12 student. He's currently enjoying the last few months of his high school career. He'll graduate in December and start university in February.
Maycol is involved in planning some of their fundraisers for their graduation and one of the activities they decided on was a soccer league where teams paid to compete.
There was probably a little ulterior motive there.
So...every Saturday he's off to play. Their team is pretty good, although they lost this day. Their goalie's mom wouldn't let him go and they had to get an alternate. Maycol wasn't impressed.
Please pray for Maycol. He's a great kid, but being 17 and in Grade 12 lends itself to a lot of temptations. We're walking closely with him, but any parents out there know that you can't watch your kids 24/7.
The great thing is we see Maycol learning and growing. We have high hopes for his future and what God is doing in his life!
